Cute and Fun!

Wow, Kyle has been a busy baby these past 2 weeks! He is doing so many new and fun things. Every day is full of excitement to see what he'll do next. For starters, I put him in a sitting position and let go to see what would happen. Previously he would immediately tip over, but low and behold, this time he put his hands in front of him and held himself up for a couple of minutes. I'm so proud of my little guy. Then during tummy time, Kyle got upset (no big surprise there) and during his crying and flailing he was able to propel himself in an entire circle. I know, he wasn't moving on purpose, but it was still something new.

Now for some really cute things. He's putting everything, I mean everything in his mouth. We have to watch what is around him, he can really reach far. Luckily, only a few drinks have tumbled to the floor. Kyle also started turning his cute bottom lip in and sucking on it. It was so cute, but it only lasted a few days, now he sticks his tongue halfway out and sucks on it - still just as cute. One last thing, he has started grabbing his feet anytime he is lying on his back. It's absolutely adorable. Its truly amazing to see him develop every day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

On Valentine's Day, I learned about love. Mommy rattled off all the people that love me, and believe me there were lots. But most important to me is how much I love Mommy and Daddy!

I'm 4 Months Old!

My Mommy is writing the update today. I'm too busy playing to do it this time. Here she is:

I can't believe how fast my little boy is growing up. I know he's still little but everyday he is acting more like a kid than the little baby I brought home from the hospital. I love everyday with him. It is so much fun to see his personality come out. He is very determined and intent on everything he does. He'll go far in life with that attitude. He also seems like he might be a little shy. I don't know where he might have gotten that from? Just kidding. It is so cute to see his little mind working. You can see his wheels turning when he enters a new situation. He glances around and checks everything out. That way he knows better how to act. Can he relax, or does he need to be on guard? So precious. He is absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better son. His laughter and smiles are the light of my life. Matt and I are so lucky and blessed. Please enjoy the pictures. 3 Months

I'm 3 months old! My personality is now starting to show through, which means a lot of smiling and laughing, but also sometimes more crying. I love to play so much that sometimes I get myself too worn out. But that's being a baby, right?

I now hate bath time, but I love Mommy drying me off.

I still like my playmat.

I'm thinking about what trouble I can get into once I start crawling!

Since I'm getting better with my hands, when it gets too bright I can pull my hat down to cover my eyes. This is how Mommy and Daddy found me after a long car trip.



























Last but not least, I had what you could call my first play date. It was with my best friend, Cousin Nate. I'm trying to steal his pacifier...





















To get back at him for trying to beat me up when we were newborns. :)

Merry Christmas!

My first Christmas was so much fun. Santa brought me so many toys and I got to spend time with all my family. What more could a little baby boy ask for? For Christmas Eve we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's house.

Me and Cousin Nate looked so cute in our matching outfits, Mommy and Aunt Kristy wanted lots of pictures. I was trying so hard...















But we really didn't like it...















We finally were able to both be calm and have our eyes open!

Two Months

I recently had my two month birthday! Can you believe how old I'm getting? I'm also still on my fast paced growing streak. I weighed in at 14 lbs 11 oz and was 24 1/4 inches. I'm over two feet tall! I've also gotten to do many more activities. I'm now a pro at going out to eat. I love watching everyone especially the waiters. It's all so fascinating! I also got to visit Santa Claus for the first time. I hope he brings me everything I asked for. :)
